Landscape Architect Role Summary:
An award-winning multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Farringdon is seeking an ambitious and creative Landscape Architect to join their newly established Landscape team. This is a great opportunity to influence the direction and growth of a new team from the ground up, within a supportive and collaborative studio environment.
The position is open to talented individuals at Consultant, Senior, or Associate level – though exceptional Graduates with a strong portfolio and passion for landscape-led thinking will also be considered. The ideal candidate will be eager to take the next step in their career, contributing fresh ideas, leading on projects, and becoming a key part of a growing discipline within the wider practice.
Landscape Architect Key Responsibilities:
- Helping to build and shape the new Landscape team
- Delivering landscape planning and design services across the UK, contributing to masterplans, public realm strategies and green infrastructure design
- Producing Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIAs) and strategic masterplans
- Collaborating closely with developers, planners and urban designers
- Contributing to planning appeals, public inquiries and developments
- Supporting the delivery of work at all stages, from concept to technical detailing, client presentations and design review
About You:
- Hold a degree in Landscape Architecture, or a related field such as Urban Design or Town Planning with a strong interest in landscape
- Must have experience or demonstrable interest in landscape planning and LVIAs
- Be a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI), or working towards Chartership/ on the P2C
- Excellent written English and report-writing skills
- Be confident interacting with a range of built environment professionals
- Have strong organisational ability and be comfortable managing multiple tasks
- Show a commitment to continuous professional development and proactive learning
- Be proficient in key software including AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
- Have the right to work in the UK (essential)
