A globally recognised, design-driven studio is seeking a Senior Associate to take a leading role across high-profile hospitality projects. With an emphasis on storytelling, sensory experience, and brand-led environments, this studio delivers immersive spaces that push beyond conventional design.
This is a senior leadership position for someone who thrives across the full project lifecycle — from concept creation through to site delivery — while also contributing to the commercial growth of the studio.
The Role
You will take ownership of projects from day one, balancing creative direction with technical delivery and client management.
Concept & Design Leadership
- Lead concept creation, narrative development, and spatial direction
- Translate client vision into compelling, design-led schemes
- Present ideas clearly to clients and internal leadership
- Guide and mentor design teams through early-stage development
Project Delivery
- Oversee all stages: schematic, design development, and construction documentation
- Ensure design intent is maintained through technical coordination
- Manage consultants including lighting, MEP, and specialist teams
- Review drawings, FF&E, and bespoke elements to ensure quality and consistency
On Site & Execution
- Act as key design contact during construction
- Review shop drawings, samples, and contractor queries
- Support value engineering without compromising design integrity
Business Development & Leadership
- Contribute to proposals, RFPs, and pitch strategies
- Work closely with senior leadership on positioning and project wins
- Lead, mentor, and develop designers at all levels
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance studio culture
About You
- 10+ years’ experience in hospitality or high-end interior projects
- Proven track record leading projects from concept to completion
- Strong client-facing and presentation skills
- Confident managing teams and external consultants
- Highly proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and 3D tools
- A strong design voice with commercial awareness
