HAUS Careers is proud to present an excellent opportunity for a Project Architect to join a well-regarded, design-focused architectural practice in Central London. This close-knit studio has built a strong reputation delivering thoughtful and technically accomplished commercial and retrofit projects, often within complex heritage contexts across London.
This role is ideal for an architect with 3–4 years’ post-Part 3 experience who is confident in technical delivery and enjoys working on carefully considered, detail-driven schemes.
The Role
You will take a key role in the technical design and delivery of projects, with a particular focus on RIBA Stages 4–5. Working closely with senior team members, you’ll help translate strong design concepts into well-resolved, buildable solutions—often within existing and listed buildings—using ArchiCAD as the primary software.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to projects through RIBA Stages 4 & 5
- Develop detailed technical packages and construction information in ArchiCAD
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors and local authorities
- Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and conservation requirements
- Produce and review drawings, specifications and technical reports
- Support delivery against programme and budget
- Uphold high standards of design and technical quality across all work stages
Skills & Experience
- Qualified Architect with 3–4 years’ post-Part 3 experience
- Strong experience in commercial projects and retrofit schemes (essential)
- Proven track record in technical delivery (Stages 4–5)
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD (essential)
- Sound knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing
- Experience working within existing / heritage buildings highly desirable
- Confident communicator with a collaborative, proactive approach
