Senior Architectural Technologist Role Summary
Location: Cardiff (hybrid working) | Start: ASAP | Education / Healthcare / Workplace | Project Lead
We’re working with a leading, employee-owned, B Corp certified architectural practice looking for an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join their Cardiff studio as soon as possible.
This is a job-running role with responsibility for delivering large-scale projects (£20m+), managing multiple schemes simultaneously, and leading technical delivery from early stages through to completion.
You’ll take ownership of coordination, production, and delivery of high-quality technical information while working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
Role Overview
Senior-level technologist role focused on technical leadership, project delivery, and coordination across complex, multi-sector projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Run multiple large-scale projects (£20m+) from design through delivery
- Lead technical coordination across consultants and design teams
- Produce and manage specifications, drawings, and construction information
- Ensure compliance with UK regulations and project requirements
- Manage workload, resources, and junior team members
- Liaise directly with clients and external consultants
- Support project delivery performance, fees, and reporting
Requirements
- Strong experience as a Senior Architectural Technologist
- Advanced Revit capability
- Proven job-running experience on complex projects
- Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and technical delivery
- Confident managing teams and multiple stakeholders
- Experience in MMC / net zero design beneficial
- Education, Healthcare or Technology sector experience desirable
