HAUS Careers is partnering with a design-led architecture studio looking to appoint a talented Freelance Architect to support a growing pipeline of UK residential projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong architect with proven Stage 4/5 experience to join a collaborative team delivering high-quality residential schemes. The initial contract is expected to run for a minimum of 6 months, with the potential for the role to transition into a permanent position for the right individual.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in the technical delivery of residential projects, supporting the production of detailed drawing packages, coordination, and construction information across later RIBA stages.
The studio is looking for someone confident working in both Revit and Rhino, with strong technical capability and previous experience delivering UK residential schemes through Stages 4 and 5.
This is a collaborative and hands-on role within a supportive studio environment offering flexible hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical packages across RIBA Stages 4 and 5
- Produce high-quality construction drawings and detailed technical information in Revit
- Utilise Rhino within the design and coordination process
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and wider project teams
- Support project delivery through construction and technical resolution
- Ensure work is produced in line with UK Building Regulations and industry standards
About You
- ARB-registered Architect
- Strong UK residential project experience
- Excellent technical knowledge, particularly across RIBA Stages 4 and 5
- Strong proficiency in both Revit and Rhino
- Experience producing detailed construction and technical drawing packages
- Confident coordinating with consultants and wider design teams
- Organised, proactive, and able to work independently when required
- Available to start within a reasonable timeframe
