We’re working with a fantastic design studio on the lookout for a Middleweight Interior Designer to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, confident designer with at least 3 years’ experience to take the next step in their career.
The Middleweight Interior Designer Role:
You’ll be hands-on from concept to completion, confidently leading projects and seeing your designs come to life. From detailed joinery design to site coordination and client management, no two days are the same – and you’ll thrive in the fast-paced, collaborative studio environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Leading projects from initial brief through to installation and handover
Producing technical drawing packs in AutoCAD with strong detail and accuracy
Designing bespoke joinery and specifying architectural finishes
Coordinating with suppliers, trades, and on-site teams
Leading client meetings with professionalism and flair
Managing project budgets and timelines
Collaborating with a creative team and contributing positively to studio life
About You:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar interior design role
Expert in AutoCAD, with a sharp eye for detail
Confident with joinery and finish specifications
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Positive, proactive, and a true team player
Comfortable juggling multiple projects and wearing many hats
A good sense of humour and no ego – you’re happy to pitch in wherever needed
Full UK driver’s licence and able to travel to site/suppliers as required
