Part III Architect Role Summary
Surrey / South London | £40,000 – £48,000 DOE
A well-established, design-led architectural studio in South London is seeking a talented Part III Architect to join its growing team.
The practice works across a varied portfolio of residential, mixed-use, commercial and hospitality projects, with opportunities to contribute across all RIBA stages — from early concept design through to delivery on site.
This position would suit a recently qualified Architect or an Architect with a few years of post-Part III experience who is looking to take on increased responsibility within a collaborative and supportive studio environment.
The Role
You will play a key role in the delivery of live projects, supporting both design development and technical coordination. The successful candidate will be confident working within a team, liaising with consultants and clients, and contributing to project delivery from planning through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Working across all RIBA work stages
- Producing high-quality design and technical drawing packages
- Preparing planning, tender and building regulations information
- Coordinating with consultants, contractors and clients
- Attending project meetings and site visits
- Supporting project delivery to programme and budget requirements
- Assisting with project coordination and day-to-day team communication
Skills & Experience
- Qualified Architect (ARB registered preferred)
- Strong UK project experience across multiple RIBA stages
- Good design and technical ability
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite essential
- Working knowledge of SketchUp and MicroStation advantageous
- Sound understanding of UK planning policy and building regulations
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage workload independently and collaboratively
Desirable
- Experience across residential, commercial, mixed-use or hospitality sectors
- Experience taking ownership of project packages or leading smaller projects
- Confidence coordinating consultants and client communication
- Based within a reasonable commute of South London / Surrey
