Are you an experienced Senior FF and E Designer with a passion for creating beautifully layered and detail-driven interiors? This is an opportunity to join one of London’s most respected interior design studios, renowned for delivering sophisticated high-end residential projects for private clients.
This design-led studio is seeking a talented Midweight to Senior FF and E Designer who can confidently lead projects from concept through to installation. You’ll have a strong eye for colour, texture, proportion, and craftsmanship, coupled with excellent supplier knowledge and a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The Role
Working closely with senior leadership and the wider interior design team, you will take ownership of FF and E packages from initial concept through procurement and final installation. You will be responsible for developing distinctive and highly considered schemes that combine furniture, lighting, textiles, art, and accessories into cohesive and memorable interiors.
You will play a key role in shaping the creative direction of projects while ensuring programmes, budgets, and procurement processes are managed effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative FF and E concepts and design narratives for luxury residential projects
- Source furniture, lighting, fabrics, finishes, accessories, and artwork from a wide network of suppliers and artisans
- Produce high-quality mood boards, presentations, schedules, and specifications
- Present concepts confidently to clients and project teams
- Manage multiple FF and E projects across different stages simultaneously
- Coordinate procurement, supplier communications, and project budgets
- Review quotations, lead times, samples, and technical information
- Attend site visits, installations, and project handovers
- Style completed interiors to ensure a polished and fully resolved outcome
- Collaborate closely with interior designers, architects, consultants, and contractors
- Support and mentor junior designers within the studio
Skills and Experience
- Several years’ experience working as an FF and E Designer within a high-end residential or luxury hospitality studio
- Exceptional knowledge of furniture, lighting, textiles, finishes, and decorative accessories
- Strong sourcing and supplier management experience
- Excellent presentation and storytelling skills
- Experience preparing FF and E schedules, specifications, and procurement documentation
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Commercial awareness and budget management experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
- A refined design eye with a strong understanding of luxury interiors
