Senior Interior Designer Role Summary
Are you an experienced and driven interior designer with a passion for high-end hospitality design? Our client is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join their vibrant and fast-paced studio, specialising in luxury boutique hotels and large-scale hospitality projects around the world.
Senior Interior Designer Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a team of junior designers, providing mentorship and guidance throughout all project phases
- Develop compelling design presentations and confidently present to clients
- Act as a client-facing lead, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships
- Oversee material and finishes selection, with expert knowledge of furniture, lighting and FF&E
- Manage and review all design documentation before issue, maintaining high quality standards
- Navigate project challenges such as budget adjustments, material sourcing and unexpected site issues with confidence and creativity
Senior Interior Designer Requirements
- Minimum 7 years’ experience, with a strong portfolio of large-scale hotel projects
- Proven project leadership and team management skills
- Deep understanding of FF&E, procurement processes and hospitality budgets
- Strong technical and creative design capabilities
- Eligible to work in the UK and available for international travel as required
- A collaborative mindset, willing to learn and adapt to new challenges
