Senior Interior Designer Role Summary
Senior Interior Designer opportunity with a well-established, design-led interior studio based in Chelsea, specialising in high-end residential projects. Established for over seven years, the studio is recognised as an industry tastemaker and has been featured by Elle Decoration as one of the “British Interior Designers to Know”.
Known for refined neutral palettes and an elegant blend of contemporary and antique pieces, the studio is seeking a commercially minded designer who enjoys owning projects from concept through to completion and contributing to the continued creative evolution of a close-knit team.
The Role
As Senior Interior Designer, you will work across RIBA Stages 0 to 6, leading projects end-to-end and acting as a confident, client-facing lead with direct support from the founders.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present design concepts and client presentations
- Produce detailed technical drawings including GAs, RCPs, lighting plans, elevations and joinery details
- Develop workshop-level design details such as bespoke joinery and panelling using SketchUp
- Create and manage detailed budgets and schedules in Excel
- Source FF&E across a range of budgets, including bespoke furniture and lighting
- Lead client meetings and presentations with founder support
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, makers and subcontractors
- Attend site visits and oversee construction to ensure high-quality execution
- Manage FF&E procurement, delivery and final installation

- Proven experience delivering high-end residential projects from start to finish
- Strong technical ability with excellent attention to detail

Software
Vectorworks, InDesign, SketchUp and Excel (budgets, procurement and schedules)
