Technical Design Role Summary
Technical Design role with a design-led studio based in Faversham, supporting the development of AV, IT and smart-home documentation. This position sits at the intersection of design, technology and buildability, ideal for someone with a strong technical mindset and an interest in how projects are detailed, coordinated and delivered.
You will initially focus on creating high-quality templates, booklets and diagrams, before progressing onto live project work and producing clear, coordinated technical outputs across multiple formats.
Responsibilities
- Create drawing templates and structured project documentation
- Develop clear diagrams and presentation materials for technical packages
- Produce accurate and legible 3D drawings
- Support project coordination and detailed technical design work
Candidate Profile
- Background in architecture, interior design or architectural technology
- Confident using AutoCAD and relevant 3D modelling software
- Organised, methodical and highly attentive to detail
- Strong interest in how designs are built, installed and coordinated on site
Location and Working Pattern
- Office-based role in Faversham, with some flexibility
- Candidates should be within a reasonable commuting distance of East Kent
