HAUS Careers is delighted to be on the lookout for an Associate Architect to work at a progressive, award-winning architecture and interiors studio known for creating exceptional, design-driven spaces across the residential, hospitality and commercial sectors.
This London-based practice blends creativity with technical precision and a deep commitment to responsible, sustainable design. They are now seeking a talented Associate Architect to join their close-knit team in a leadership role, offering both creative freedom and genuine responsibility.
The Role
As Associate, you will lead a diverse portfolio of beautifully crafted projects, from concept through to completion. You’ll oversee design quality, technical delivery and team coordination, while playing a key part in shaping the studio’s continued growth and success.
You’ll also contribute strategically across the business — supporting practice operations, mentoring junior staff, and championing a culture of collaboration and thoughtful design.
Key Responsibilities
Lead bespoke residential and hospitality projects through all RIBA stages
Provide strong design direction and technical oversight across multiple teams
Review and prepare detailed technical documentation and specifications
Coordinate with consultants, contractors and clients to ensure design integrity
Embed sustainable, responsible design principles in every project
Contribute to resourcing, strategy and business development
Support and mentor junior team members
About You
ARB-registered Architect with 7+ years post-Part 3 experience
Proven experience leading high-end residential or hospitality projects
Strong leadership and client-facing communication skills
Confident across all RIBA stages with excellent technical ability
Skilled in Vectorworks Architect, plus Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office
Passionate about responsible design and exceptional detailing
