Design-Led Studio
£58,000 – £65,000
London (Hybrid)

HAUS Careers is delighted to be on the lookout for an Associate Architect to work at a progressive, award-winning architecture and interiors studio known for creating exceptional, design-driven spaces across the residential, hospitality and commercial sectors.

This London-based practice blends creativity with technical precision and a deep commitment to responsible, sustainable design. They are now seeking a talented Associate Architect to join their close-knit team in a leadership role, offering both creative freedom and genuine responsibility.

The Role

As Associate, you will lead a diverse portfolio of beautifully crafted projects, from concept through to completion. You’ll oversee design quality, technical delivery and team coordination, while playing a key part in shaping the studio’s continued growth and success.

You’ll also contribute strategically across the business — supporting practice operations, mentoring junior staff, and championing a culture of collaboration and thoughtful design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead bespoke residential and hospitality projects through all RIBA stages

  • Provide strong design direction and technical oversight across multiple teams

  • Review and prepare detailed technical documentation and specifications

  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors and clients to ensure design integrity

  • Embed sustainable, responsible design principles in every project

  • Contribute to resourcing, strategy and business development

  • Support and mentor junior team members

About You

  • ARB-registered Architect with 7+ years post-Part 3 experience

  • Proven experience leading high-end residential or hospitality projects

  • Strong leadership and client-facing communication skills

  • Confident across all RIBA stages with excellent technical ability

  • Skilled in Vectorworks Architect, plus Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office

  • Passionate about responsible design and exceptional detailing

The Offer

  • Salary: £58,000 – £65,000

  • Flexible hybrid working from home and a creative central London studio

  • Health and life insurance (after qualifying period)

  • Pension scheme and ARB fee payment

  • Regular CPD sessions, seminars and training

  • Access to co-working perks and wellness facilities

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Associate Architect looking to take a meaningful leadership role within a design-led, socially conscious practice that values creativity, collaboration and integrity.

If you’re ready to step up and make a real impact, apply today with your CV, portfolio and a short cover letter outlining your experience and availability.
