An award-winning residential developer with a growing in-house architectural team is seeking an Associate Architect to join their Central London studio. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented architect to play a key role in the design and delivery of high-quality residential developments that combine heritage character with contemporary design and craftsmanship.
The role is ideal for an architect with strong residential experience and excellent Revit skills who is looking to take on greater project responsibility while working closely with senior team members, consultants, and internal stakeholders. You’ll contribute across multiple RIBA stages, supporting the successful delivery of thoughtfully designed residential schemes within a fast-paced developer environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and delivery of residential projects across a range of RIBA stages
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal development teams to ensure project objectives are achieved
- Produce and review design, planning, and technical drawing packages using Revit
- Assist with project management, programme coordination, and design development activities
- Contribute to planning applications, technical design information, and construction-stage documentation
- Attend and participate in design team meetings, consultant workshops, and stakeholder presentations
- Support senior architects and directors in maintaining design quality and project performance
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members where appropriate
About You
- ARB-registered Architect with residential experience
- Strong experience working on UK residential projects
- Highly proficient in Revit – essential
- Experience contributing to projects through multiple RIBA stages, including technical design and delivery
- Good understanding of UK planning, building regulations, and residential construction
- Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Organised, proactive, and confident managing project responsibilities with appropriate support
- Passionate about high-quality housing design and delivering practical, buildable solutions
