Senior / Associate Architect Role Summary

We’re excited to be working with a highly regarded, award-winning London-based studio to find a Senior / Associate Architect to join their talented team. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who is passionate about design, thrives in a collaborative environment, and wants to make a real impact on high-quality residential and mixed-use projects.

Salary: £50,000–£60,000 (DOE)
1 day WFH
Residential / Mixed Use

About the studio

This is a practice that values design excellence, innovation, and collaboration. They work across multi-home and mixed-use projects, focusing on solutions that are not only visually compelling but also technically precise and commercially viable. The studio prides itself on its BIM-led approach and highly organised workflows, allowing creativity to flourish within structured processes.

The culture here is friendly, supportive, and dynamic. Weekly social events, site visits, and regular events help the team bond outside of the studio. CPDs and mentoring are built into everyday life, ensuring that every architect has the support and resources they need to thrive.

About the role

You will be joining at a senior level, leading projects through RIBA Stages 4 and 5, coordinating complex workflows, and collaborating with consultants, clients, and contractors. You’ll be able to take ownership of design development while supporting the broader team, contributing ideas, and ensuring the highest standards are delivered.

This role suits someone who is confident, organised, and highly motivated, with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail. The studio values collaboration as much as individual excellence, so you’ll be someone who thrives both independently and as part of a team.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience on multi-unit residential projects, ideally high-rise and London-based

  • Confident handling of RIBA Stages 4 and 5

  • Excellent knowledge of UK building standards and construction detailing

  • Advanced Revit skills

  • Experience leading teams and coordinating complex workflows

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop practical, elegant solutions with external consultants

  • Confident communicator with experience presenting to clients and contractors

  • Highly motivated, design-focused, and organised

What’s on offer

  • Flexible working, 1 day WFH

  • In-house CPDs, mentoring, and career development opportunities

  • Studio socials

  • Health insurance, life assurance, and cycle-to-work scheme

  • Monthly studio lunch and a lively social calendar

  • A collaborative and inclusive working environment where everyone is valued

This is a rare chance to join a studio that combines professional growth with a fun, social, and supportive atmosphere. Candidates must have the right to work permanently in the UK and be fluent in English.
