A highly regarded, design-led architecture studio in West London is seeking an Associate Director to join its senior team. With a strong international presence, the practice is known for delivering refined, detail-driven projects across the high-end residential and hospitality sectors.
The studio operates at the intersection of contemporary and contextual design, with a portfolio that spans private residences, boutique hospitality and heritage-sensitive schemes. As the practice continues to grow, this is an opportunity for an experienced architect to take on a strategic leadership role, guiding the design and delivery of complex, high-value international projects.
The role
This is a key leadership position, responsible for shaping design direction and ensuring excellence in delivery across multiple projects. You will lead large teams, coordinate consultants and act as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clarity of vision from concept through to completion.
You will also play an integral role in mentoring team members and contributing to the wider direction, culture and growth of the studio.
Key responsibilities
Lead the design and delivery of large-scale residential and hospitality projects
Manage and inspire multidisciplinary project teams
Act as a key interface with clients, consultants and stakeholders
Maintain design integrity across all RIBA stages
Oversee project coordination, programme and delivery
Provide mentorship and support to architects and designers
Contribute to the strategic growth and leadership of the practice
About you
ARB-registered architect with 10+ years’ post-Part 3 experience
Strong track record delivering complex, high-end residential or hospitality projects
Proven leadership experience on large, international schemes
Excellent design sensibility alongside robust technical knowledge
Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
Organised, collaborative and commercially aware
Software
Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
