Head of Architecture Role Summary

£60,000 + DOE
A design-led architectural practice in NW London is seeking a Head of Architecture (or senior leadership-level Architect) to support continued growth and lead architectural delivery across a diverse project portfolio.
Founded in 2009, the studio has evolved from a design & build background into a more architecturally focused practice, delivering considered, well-resolved schemes across London and beyond.
The Role
A senior, hands-on leadership position overseeing projects from early concept through to completion, with a strong emphasis on planning strategy and technical delivery.
Project sectors include:
Residential
Large-scale, multi-storey developments
Mixed-use
Industrial
Experience & Skills
Extensive experience across RIBA Stages 0–6
Strong design, planning and technical capability
Proven planning experience across multiple London boroughs
Ability to produce and review key planning documentation, including:
Daylight & sunlight assessments
Parking stress tests
Design & Access Statements
Heritage Statements
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
ARB registration preferred but not essential
Driving licence advantageous
