The Role
We are currently recruiting to join a dynamic Masterplanning and Urban Design Team as a Masterplanner. Work closely with the Head of Masterplanning and in-house team to deliver high-quality projects, support multidisciplinary designers across the UK and Ireland, and help grow this specialist area through innovative, design-led masterplanning solutions.
About You
They are seeking a proactive, design-focused Masterplanner with a strong background in Architecture, Landscape Architecture or Urban Design.
5 years’ post-qualification experience, strong technical knowledge of the UK planning system, and the confidence to manage projects independently while working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
Key skills and experience:
Experience working in a UK-based masterplanning, architecture or landscape practice
Postgraduate qualification in Urban Design (or equivalent)
Strong understanding of UK planning policy and application processes
Confident communication, presentation and client engagement skills
A strong design portfolio demonstrating placemaking and sustainability awareness
Familiarity with UK housebuilder or institutional developer clients
Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite and Excel
Self-motivated with excellent organisational and leadership ability
