A small, design-led architecture studio based in central London is seeking a talented Architectural Designer or Part II Architectural Assistant with 3+ years’ post-Part II UK experience to join its growing team.
The practice works on a portfolio of high-end residential and hospitality projects, primarily in London, alongside select international concept work. With a team of around 20, the studio offers a collaborative, international environment and a structure that supports genuine involvement across all project stages.
This is an opportunity to work closely with senior staff on projects from concept through to completion, contributing to both design development and delivery.
The Role
You will be part of a project team responsible for:
- Developing concept and design proposals
- Preparing planning and presentation packages
- Producing detailed and technical design information
- Coordinating with consultants and wider design teams
- Preparing tender and construction documentation (including NBS)
- Undertaking site visits and inspections
Projects are typically led by directors and supported by dedicated job runners, allowing team members to maintain continuity and ownership throughout the lifecycle of a project.
About You

- Experience in high-end residential and/or hospitality sectors
- Strong design sensibility and presentation skills
- Experience across both concept and technical stages
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, and specification
- Site experience and awareness of construction processes and supply chain
- Organised, proactive, and confident working both independently and collaboratively
- Clear and professional communication skills
Experience with Vectorworks is not essential—candidates from an AutoCAD background will be supported in transitioning.
Studio Culture
The studio values versatility and initiative, encouraging team members to develop as well-rounded designers rather than specialising in narrow roles. There is no production-line structure—individuals are trusted to engage deeply with projects from start to finish.
The team is international, friendly, and design-focused, with a strong emphasis on quality, continuity, and long-term professional development.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience
- Annual leave: 21 days, increasing to 25 with service
- Discretionary annual bonus
