Represented by HAUS Careers

Architect / BIM Expert Role – HAUS Careers is working with a respected and expanding architecture and construction practice, based in central London, to find a talented Architect with BIM expertise to join their growing team. This unique position is ideally suited to a Revit-savvy architect who is confident both delivering architectural work and leading the studio’s BIM efforts.

With several luxury hotel and large-scale developments secured, the studio is looking for someone to play a key dual role – supporting architectural design and technical delivery while championing BIM standards and workflow across the practice.

About the Architect / BIM Expert Role:

This is a 50/50 hybrid role, combining hands-on architectural work (especially technical design stages) with BIM coordination, support and strategy. You will work directly with the design team to ensure models are developed and delivered efficiently in Revit, while also offering BIM support across ongoing and upcoming projects.

The studio values individuals who are not only technically excellent but proactive in problem-solving, clear in communication, and happy to roll up their sleeves when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to architectural project work, particularly across RIBA Stages 3–5

  • Lead and maintain Revit standards, model setup, and BIM protocols across the practice

  • Provide in-house Revit support and training for team members

  • Assist in managing BIM workflows, clash detection, and model coordination

  • Produce and oversee detailed Revit drawing packages

  • Help ensure projects meet BIM Level 2 compliance where applicable

  • Support the wider team in developing efficient, consistent digital workflows

  • Liaise with consultants and contractors to coordinate BIM deliverables

  • Balance architectural responsibilities and project-based tasks with BIM oversight

Key Requirements:

  • ARB-registered Architect or equivalent qualification, with UK experience

  • Expert-level proficiency in Revit – essential for both architecture and BIM management

  • Strong experience with large-scale projects (hospitality, residential, commercial or mixed-use)

  • Thorough knowledge of UK Building Regulations and RIBA work stages

  • Experience working to BIM Level 2 standards

  • Familiarity with clash detection tools (e.g., Navisworks) is desirable

  • Proven ability to manage and support BIM on live projects

  • Comfortable producing detailed drawings and coordinating technical information

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to guide and support others

  • Collaborative and detail-focused, with a problem-solving mindset

What’s on Offer:

  • £50,000 – £60,000 per annum (based on experience and BIM proficiency)

  • A full-time, office-based position in central London (Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm)

  • No overtime – a culture that respects your time and work–life balance

  • The opportunity to work on luxury 5-star hotel projects and other large-scale developments

  • A hands-on role with real influence over BIM standards and practice-wide digital processes

  • Join a tight-knit, family-run office with a supportive and collaborative team culture

  • Long-term growth and the opportunity to shape BIM strategy as the studio evolves

This is a brilliant opportunity for a proactive and well-rounded Architect with BIM leadership skills, who enjoys a balance of design, delivery, and digital coordination. If you’re passionate about architecture and love getting the most out of Revit and BIM, we’d love to hear from you.
