Senior BIM Technologist Role Summary

A specialist digital construction consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior BIM Technologist to join its growing team.
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced BIM professional to work fully remotely while contributing to some of the UK’s most technically demanding construction projects. The successful candidate will work directly with contractors, specialist subcontractors and delivery teams across a wide range of sectors, helping coordinate and deliver complex construction packages through advanced BIM workflows.
The role would suit someone with strong Revit expertise, excellent technical detailing skills and experience delivering projects throughout RIBA Stages 4–6.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Director and working closely alongside the BIM Project Lead, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality BIM models, technical documentation and project coordination across multiple schemes simultaneously.
You will work closely with contractors, consultants, suppliers and specialist subcontractors to ensure projects are coordinated effectively and delivered to the highest technical standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Producing and coordinating detailed BIM models to LOD 4–5
Developing coordinated construction drawings and technical documentation
BIM coordination and clash detection management
Technical detailing for specialist construction packages
Quality assurance reviews and model audits
Managing multiple live projects
Supporting project teams through RIBA Stages 4–6
Collaborating with contractors, consultants, suppliers and specialist trades
Contributing to BIM standards, workflows and process improvements where required

Skills & Experience Required
To be considered for this position, you should have:
Minimum 7 years’ BIM experience within the construction industry
Strong experience working directly with contractors and specialist subcontractors
Proven delivery experience across RIBA Stages 4–6
Advanced Revit modelling and coordination capability
Excellent technical detailing and construction documentation skills
Strong understanding of BIM workflows and information exchange processes
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Strong communication and coordination skills
