BIM Coordinator / BIM Manager Role Summary

Role & Responsibilities
As BIM Coordinator / Manager, you’ll oversee BIM integration across live projects and ensure best practice across the studio. Your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating BIM workflows and ensuring accurate Revit modelling and family creation
Federating 3D models and managing clash detection using Revit and Navisworks, providing detailed reports and solutions
Leading BIM coordination meetings, including live model walkthroughs and resolving spatial or technical challenges
Reviewing incoming/outgoing models, ensuring compliance with BIM standards and project protocols
Supporting project teams from concept to delivery (aligned with ISO 19650)
Managing and updating BIM documentation, including EIR, BEP and AIRs
Leading information exchanges and data drop procedures working within a Common Data Environment (CDE)
Providing training and ongoing support to team members on BIM tools and workflows
Promoting digital innovation and mentoring teams to elevate BIM capability across the practice
Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years’ BIM-focused experience, ideally within architecture or construction
Advanced Revit skills essential
Strong experience using Navisworks for clash detection
Knowledge of BIM protocols such as ISO 19650, IFC and quality assurance workflows
Confident communicator with strong problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate with design teams, consultants and contractors
Experience in delivering projects to BIM Level 2 or above
Understanding of construction and making processes
Knowledge of Dynamo is advantageous but not essential
